Next to rice, bread is the next best thing for me. Every day, we looked for new concept with regards to bread and I found one in MOA. Located at the ground floor of S. Maison, Conrad Hotel is; Baker & Cook is a sure place to where to eat in MOA. Baker & Cook is an artisanal bakery which served a good selection of grain, pancakes, egg benedicts, tartines and other pastries.
Baker & Cook opened last January 2017. The bakery is opened as early as 8 am to accommodate the morning person who does running around the area and want some nice breakfast after their routine. It also a venue for early meetings; for professional and corporate customer.
As for me, I was treated for a morning breakfast by a friend. I was actually thinking of not going since it was far from my place and it was so early; but I was happy that I did not back out from the invitation
Upon entering the bakery; an aroma of fresh baked bread greeted me which made my tummy crumble a little.
There were a lot to choose from and I was like; oh no this is not happening moment because of the variety of the bread that was displayed and I can’t seem to choose.
Since they told me that breakfast should be carbo and protein, I ask for some egg benedict and pancake
The egg benedict are the best seller for me, one is salmon and pancetta. They are generous when it comes to their salmon, it fresh and don’t have that malansa taste (if you know what I mean)
The pancakes are made from scratch with a cream that is ice cream base. Pancake are top with different variety of fruits which is for me; a great combination.
The place was comfortable and if you want to have a nice view; you can opt to eat outside (al fresco style).
Price comes with quality.
Yes, there a lot of bakeries around the metro but if you want a different feel when you dine early in the morning; then Baker & Cook is good place to start your day.
