Iba pa rin ang panlasang Pinoy

Filipino loves to eat and we are definitely have our ways when it comes to the kitchen, and one thing is for sure, we are good cooks

Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino opens its 2nd branch at the upper level of Promenade in Greenhills to cater to its loyal customers that can be accommodate in their first branch which is actually inside Greenhills as well.

Known for thie Wagyu Mechado, Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino serves a variety of well-loved Filipino dishes with a twist.

And I, could not resist the temptation when I got the chance to dine last June 6, 2019.

The Place

Upon entering the restaurant, I was transported back to the good all days, It was so homey and I was awe especially when I saw all the photos and other things that reminds me of my Lola’s house, those cups and palayok and there’s even a sungka on the each table for people to play with while waiting for their food.

The table are made of old sewing machine and the table tops looks like our old windows with capis and all.

The Food

All the dishes prepared are well thought of, from the presentation to the taste. I could say that it’s a little bit pricey but who cares when you get to taste a “worth it your money” dishes. Plus they have dessert and drinks that are truly Pinoy like ube halaya, pastillas.

Some of my favorites are the Sinigang, Laing, palabok, the tinapa with keso.

And please make sure to get to taste the bibingka, it really melts in your mouth.

BAGNET WITH LAING COMBO Love the laing and my friends can get the bagnet from me
Tinapa wrap with kesong puti plus the mango salsa is really appetizing Don’t forget to wrap it sa lettuce and will complete the experience
This Crispy Dinuguan is one na babalik balikan ko, the sauce itself ay ulam na
Angus Rib Steak is so tender
This pancit is one of my favorite, ako ata ang naka ubos ng gulay sa ibabaw eh, talagang ako ung nauna na kumuha kasi sa tingin pa lang masarap na
The Bulalo, you really need the 2nd bowl of soup sa sarap
The BBQ is so tender, lambot sarap sya
The shrimp with alique sauce, dito na nagka alaman kung sino seafood lover, di pwede palagpasin eh
Lechon Sisig
This is the Bibingka na hwag na hwag mong di oorderin kasi talagang melt in you mouth sya
Palabok, so crispy ng topping and the noodle ay tamang tama ang pagkakaluto

The Service

All the staff are friendly and to set the mode, they are in full Filipino style uniform. The baro at saya really complete it. Since we are special guest for the day, we got superb service but I do know that they serve all their guest the same way because customers are coming back.
