FNRI-DOST conducted a special forum on the impact of micronutrient deficiencies (MNDs) to children and on how collaborative actions may play a role in curbing the prevalence of MND recently at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas, Pasig City last July 4, 2017
Industry leaders and nutrition allies flock to FNRI’s symposium to collaborate on the ways to diminish the prevalence of MND. Among the other attendees are government and non-government officials, industry partners, entrepreneurs, nutritionist-dietitians, nutrition workers, public health practitioners, members of the academe and research organizations, nutrition allies in the medical fields, and media practitioners.
Present in the said event are the executives of Bear Brand Fortified as part of their Laki sa Tibay (LST) campaign. Through the LST campaign, Bear Brand Fortified continues to support FNRI’s advocacy towards a healthy nutrition and lifestyle especially this Nutrition Month.

With the theme, “Pagtibayin ang Kinabukasan: A forum on micronutrient deficiencies and the importance of partnerships to address the challenge,” Bear Brand, in support of the FNRI’s advocacy, continues to uphold their key campaign through attending various information dissemination activities for schoolchildren, parents and teachers across the country to continue their withstanding commitment to fight MND among schoolchildren.
