Last Christmas, my family opts to spend the Christmas holiday in a hotel; so that time would be spend more on just having each other’s company; for a change I may say.

Every Christmas, family members are always busy with their schedule and other events that need their presence and therefore a different venue might do the trick. Why they are busy at the hotel, I was also busy cooking and preparing the food or purchasing them in the nearby restaurant. I could say that I miss those moments with them and that’s I hope would not happen this year.

I opt to just sit with them in a dining table, chatting and eating delicious food and not worry whose going to clean up and cook.

This year, I have a place in mind to which I could take them for a sumptuous meal; The Guevarra’s

Guevarra’s is located at 387 P. Guevarra cor. Argonnes St. Addition Hills, San Juan and Buffet rates are as follows:

Weekday Lunch (Monday to Friday) – P399 + 12% VAT

Weekday Dinner (Monday to Thursday) – P499 + 12% VAT

Weekday Maagang Salu-Salo (Monday to Thursday) – P449 + 12% VAT

Weekend Maagang Salu-Salo (Friday Dinner to Sunday Dinner & Holidays) – P 549 + 12% VAT

Weekend Lunch and Dinner (Friday Dinner to Sunday Dinner) – P599 + 12% VAT

Lunch is from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Maagang Salu-Salo 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM while dinner is from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM.


Guevarra’s recently launch their Yuletide Menu that would be available this Oct. 15,2016. What’s interesting is that, there’s no price increase even though they would serve food like
