A Kapampangan by blood from my mother’s side, let me tour your around our province for exciting places and food you can explore in the future.

Sab inga nila, when you are a Kapampangan, magaling ka magluto and that’s a well know fact, as in pak na pak.
So let’s start with food, dapat kasi busog ka para you have the energy to explore the place.

Just a stone throw away from Clark Museum is a uniquely themed restaurant named Matam-Ih Authentic Kapampangan Cuisine

Matam-Ih is an aboriginal Aeta word which means delicious and its name say it all. It offers the best and most delicious Kapampangan dishes in town. They have amiable Aeta staff who go by the names of famous celebrities, so don’t be surprised if Piolo Pascual, Gretchen Barreto or even Heart Evanglista serves your order

Dito mo masusubukan ang mga kakaiba, as in kakaibang exotic food. It is a restaurant that will test your tapang. Pero naman, once matikman mona; sasabihin mo “ okey pala sya”
May singer din na sikat dito at ang galing nya kumanta; na discover na nga sya eh. An aeta na may pambihirang boses at dahil sa pagkanta nya ay nabubuhay nya ang kanyang pamilya. So if you ever visit the place, make sure bigyan ng malaking tip.

Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes
Home to many old churches, the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes is one of the must visit places in Pampanga
Nestled at CAbetin , BAcolor Pampanga, this historical church is survivor from the devastating Mt Pinatubo eruption in 1991. Not as known as popular old church, the shrine is hidden gem in Pampanga that’s waitng to be discovered fro its precious story. IT was partly buried in lahar hence its other name is Sunken Shrine of Bacolor
A replica church was built beside the former shrine wherein people attend masses and other church activities. It also houses the 130 year old Lady of Lourdes, its patron saint.

Rolren’s Lanters and General Merchandise
One thing that Pampanga is proud of, their dazzling and colorful gigantic Parol with 10,000 pcs light bulbs. As early as now, Rolren’s Lanterns is busy accepting orders for lantern from different part of the country not to mention preparing for the yearly competition of Giant Lanter Festival . Rolren’s has already established its reputation for being one of the largest parol supplier in the Philippines. It has already embared on exporting to Canada, USA and selected European Country.

San Fernando Train Station Museum
One of the bucket list if you visit San Fernado is to visit the train station museum.
The City of San Fernando is also a witness to Philippines History. Thus, one of its historical site is the San Fernando Train Station.

In April 1942, this old train station was endpoint of the 102-kilometer walk from Bataan to San Fernando during the World War II Death March. In addition, Jose Rizal disembarked from this same station to visit his colleagues in San Fernando and Bacolor in Jun 27,1892. Now a bare defuct railway station, the place become a small museum which house crafts and works of great historical importance.

Di masyado malaki ung place, pero it plays a vital role sa history so dapat lang na puntahan nyo sya.

Trivia
The San Fernando Train Station will be rebuilt as the current administration seeks to rebuild more infrastructures.

Clark Museum & 4D Theater

Rediscover Clark, one of Pampanga’s most promising cities through its Clark Museum & 4D Theater.
The museum features a wide array of artifacts, old photographs and state of the art paintings which show the rich talent and culture of Pampanga. It is arranged into four galleries giving a bird’s eye view of Clark from its favorable geophysical characteristics, industries and trade, its American colonial situation, its rise from the ashes story from the Mt. Pinatubo blast, and up to their spirit of bravery and ingenious vision towards the future.
Highlighting the museum experience is the 4D Theater. It allows visitors to witness the Mt. Pinatubo explosion with breathtaking effects including wind, bubbles and mist.

Here is a place where in madidiscover mo talaga ang nangyari sa Mt. Pinatubo thru a documentary na naka 4D pa and with matching effects.
Ganda din pagmasdan ung mga painting and

other artifacts na nakadisplay. Ipasyal mo ang pamilya or barkdada mo dito especially mga bata for them to know about the past.

Going to and from Pampanga would take you about 2 hours, depende sa traffic.

So malapit lang naman sya di ba and yet daming places to explore. Di pa nga kami nakapunta sa iba pang lugar kasi kulang sa time.

Pero eto, if you want to be near places talaga and experience this when ever you want to , may sagot dyan. Eh di tumira na sa Pampanga
